New pot trials
Since 2019, Bioplasmar undertook vaste R&D program to improve pots resistance during culture in nurseries.

The first tests demonstrates very encouraging results as shown in trials conducting in march this year in Israel at the Shtil Neto nursery.

Pots were filled with peat and cutting herbal plants
17 march 2019
Seedling deloped in a normal manner and the pot structure did’nt change.
26 march 2019
The pots were planted in a 10 liters pot whith peat and buried in a sandy soil.
31 march 2019
The pots in peat soil were in advance stage of degradation.
Pots in sandy soil started degradation.
Pots not planted remain rigid.

Pots have been tested in private home conditions. The pot withstands humidity very well after seven weeks !
Pots criteria:
- Plant Growth
- Pot resistance during culture
- Biodegradability of the pot once planted in soil
- Plant development after plantation – pot nourishing contribution
Trays criteria:
- Tray resistance during propagation period
- Seed growth/ development
- Tray solidity at the end of the seedlings growth
- Capacity to automate tray plantation with plant

A german laboratory, LWG, has processed some tests with products from different brands available on the market. Our Bioplasmar biodegradable pot participates in these tests.

Following a year of intensive investments in our new joint factory in France, we are happy to see that the first trials with our flower pots are bringing excellent results.
Thousands of pots are now in production for delivery in the spring to municipalities and garden centers.
